Re: UK Pharmacy Sells Homeopaths for Profit OnlyGood article. Thanks for posting that.
Here's the last sentence from that article... "...If these products don't work beyond the placebo effect, why do people keep buying them?" This seems to be the real question here.
Re: UK Pharmacy Sells Homeopaths for Profit OnlyI've never tried it, so I can't say if it works or not.
You bet your buns that I'll pick some up and wait for a good headache just to give it a try for myself. As long as it's not super expensive because I get the same pain relief from about $.03 of cheap asprin.
Re: UK Pharmacy Sells Homeopaths for Profit OnlyDo you have any Vasoline in your cabinet? If so, that should work even better! At least, it will if you believe it will...

Re: UK Pharmacy Sells Homeopaths for Profit OnlyThat whole, "If you believe it will" has plenty of merit.
Re: UK Pharmacy Sells Homeopaths for Profit OnlyMy Dad taught me to take my medicine for a cold so that I would get better in 7 days. If I did not take my medicine then it would take all week. This is proof that taking my medicine works. I guess homeopathic medicine works the same way. So it does work, so people buy it.
In all seriousness it takes a lot of effort to work out if a medicine actually works or not. This is something most people are not capable of doing. You need to do a double blind control study to do so. Otherwise you are blinded by wishful thinking and a desire to do something.
