The experiment concerning faster than light travel should be explained a bit. A test was run and it looks like these particles traveled faster than light. This happens every other year or so. This experiment is not novel in that sense. In the past issues have been uncovered that showed how the data was being misinterpreted. For example, superluminal jets observed in space were shown not to be superluminal after all.
What makes the CERN issue so interesting is that CERN has observed this more than once. It is repeatable (just like the jets in space observations). Lots of issues have been discussed at CERN. No one there appears to have an explanation other than the particles in question are indeed superluminal. Instead of claiming success they have opened up the material to others. They are doing this knowing that for decades claims of superluminal have not panned out.
This thread is about homeopathy. Unlike the CERN experiment homeopathy is not repeatedly seen to exhibit healing effects. Like all of the other superluminal claims in the past homeopathy has been seen to fail.
If homeopathic practitioners and believers acted like CERN they would say something like this:
Even though there is no evidence whatsoever supporting homeopathy and it appears to be an ineffective treatment maybe there is a place where it can be applied, but all of the past efforts should be dropped and studies moved to other areas where something might be fruitful.
