You are probably right Steve. I can't imagine what motivates Pseudo-Skeptics to do what they do, since it's completely nonsensical and nonproductive and contributes nothing to others or themselves. It's totally not logical. One can only conclude that something is really messed up inside of them. Kudos for trying to reveal their inner psychology. If only they'd listen.
I agree about Penn and Teller. I can't stand watching one of their episodes. It's such low quality. They are annoying as hell as it's obvious to any layman who studies the paranormal, that they don't know sh**. All they do is ridicule and act like everyone knows it's all bunk, even if it's backed by a ton of evidence and facts. Yeah right. I wonder who is dumb and gullible enough to believe them, certainly not someone who's informed. They certainly try to act like it's funny though. I wonder who airs their crap. It's such low quality.
Like Randi, they never try bothering to explain what they can't explain away, or else they just deny it if brought up.
Also, I can't imagine where they get the actors who play dumb cuckookoo paranormalists on their show. They must be paid performers or plants. No serious person would act like the paranormalists they show on their show. A total insult to one's intelligence.
“Devotion to the truth is the hallmark of morality; there is no greater, nobler, more heroic form of devotion than the act of a man who assumes the responsibility of thinking.” - Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
