As I see it, the motive behind posting on a thread that supposedly holds no interest but actually touches a nerve, is to trivialize the topic and too shut down other readers from commenting positively with the topic. I think SydneyPSIder may feel that he is on trial and that looking in depth at the topic he might have to look critically at his own position.

I'm not sure there's much more to say on this topic. I don't think anyone really disagreed with me. It's not that complicated a point, but one that I think is sometimes forgotten.

I guess "inconsistencies" inflict the establishment too. Check out this NY Times article.

And we get called "conspiracy theorists!" It would be nice to have a Joe Wilson on our side. Or, maybe a Jack Welch! (LOL).
