Re: Has anyone heard about the Big BloopNope, not even close.
Re: Has anyone heard about the Big BloopThere are interesting things out there. It becomes hard to find them when people make bad claims. It can be claims of dragons must exist, or I saw Champ in Bulwagga Bay (explained shortly), or mothman, or whatever. These ridiculous claims made it harder to find more interesting situations. I have no idea if the bloop is worthy of study or not, but it certainly more tantalizing than the claims of a mothman in Maine.
Bulwagga Bay is the number 1 place to see the monster of Lake Champlain affectionately called Champ. Champ is described many different ways and unless we want to assume a host of mysterious beasts in a lake 110 miles long by 11 miles wide at its widest we have to wonder about the descriptions themselves. Now it turns out that Bulwagga Bay is at an historically interesting place. It was founded as the loading docks for iron ore mined in the Adirondacks. This ore made fine steel and won medals at European steel exhibitions. The secret was uncovered later when large titanium deposits were discovered nearby. But back to Bulwagga bay. There is a bar right there at Bulwagga with the fine sign that says "Dancing and Parking". I love that sign. You can dance and then enjoy some parking. I have no idea if its the patrons that do the Champ sightings. You see the pretty bay you look out onto is on average 4 feet deep. Hardly fits the description of a swimming, diving beast 30 or more feet in length. When you see Champ in Bulwagga Bay it means get on to the parking part of your evening or call a cab.
