Why Do Conspiracies Have so Much Appeal?Re: Why Do Conspiracies Have so Much Appeal? The reason conspiracy theories have so much appeal is because people do not know love, it is directly related to this topic. Of course people who don't know love wouldn't know that. They would prefer their own theory than to learn the truth of the matter and simply ban me, someone who prefers truth over a conspiracy theory, so they can appear correct and remain smug in their ignorant ways.
Re: Why Do Conspiracies Have so Much Appeal?Critical Thinking and Logic offer the only sure path to truth.
Re: Why Do Conspiracies Have so Much Appeal? There are number of factors, but probably one of the most important ones in this instance is that, paradoxically, it gives people a sense of control. People hate randomness, they dread the sort of random occurrences that can destroy their lives, so as a mechanism against that dread, it turns out that it’s much easier to believe in a conspiracy. Then you have someone to blame, it’s not just randomness.
