Check out this fan made video of the original Starship Enterprise destroying The Next Generation Enterprise in a battle. The effects and visuals were nicely done.
I've always preferred the original Star Trek series. The characters were far more likable and close to heart. The new series characters were boring and I never felt any emotional attachment to them.

Star Trek in A-Team style intro! (Not as bad as you think!)
Now I know you might think a Star Trek opening in the A-Team style is going to be cheesy and bad, but trust me, this is very well done and looks believable. It's a lot better than you think. Check it out. Jeez.
