Randi won't take what he may fail. How long will Randi remain dishonest about the MDC ?. Sit the Lie Detector Test and then we can talk Turkey.

Have you contacted Mr Randi or the JREF and requested that he sit a lie detector test? If not, why do you continue to post your claim that he wouldn't accept? Furthermore, what gives you the right to demand that anyone sit a lie detector test? Would you expect Queen Elizabeth to sit a lie detector test at your request regarding the death of Princess Diana? What about George Bush getting tested for prior knowledge of the planned 9/11 attacks? I'm not sure what kind of fantasy world it is that you live in, but in the real world making a demand on an obscure internet forum that a high profile individual sit a lie detector test, and expecting them to respond to you, is bordering on insanity.

Randi's MDC rules are designed so he can keep moving the goal posts!!! What Randi wants to see are not glimpses of the paranormal , but rather a ''superman'' of the paranormal. If Randi was really interrested in discovering if any paranormal exists, no matter how small the percentage, then he would be working with believers rather than poking fun at them.

I say again that Randi's rules are really designed to draw out a SUPERMAN. Randi wants a Marvel Comic style super hero to apply for the MDC. Randi read too many books when bed ridden for thirteen months as a child ?

Have you ever heard of Denis Rawlins ? Well that man is an Atheist and he doesn't trust Randi at all . Something to do with Randi's friend trying to ''alter stats'' about the Mars Effect.

Rawlins told me on the phone that Randi's credibility was ruined by the fiddling of data.

alsooooo
LIE DETECTORS ARE STUPID
ONLY VERY IDIOTIC PEOPLE WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE OF SCIENCE
think that LDT works... so.. im sorry
but i am not derailing this thread since the guy that started the thread is a maniac that believes in woo..

lol. Unless Randi seriously considers to pass the Lie Detector Test, then his credibility will drop further like it did with the cover up of the Mars Effect.

Randi the loudish mouth who points the finger at believers must in turn prove that his challenge is legitimate, And the LDT would be a nice start :D .

Why did Randi hang upside down in a ''straight jacket'' suspended over Niagrara Falls in one of his show stunts ? Why ? What did that stunt prove ?? Nothing was achieved for skepticism. Randi is a fake skeptic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0H0r2Xqlgs

The point is ,Randi uses his showmanship to captivate the audience, Randi then uses a large sum of money to keep the audience in their skeptic seats.
Almost everyone speaks on Randi's behalf that he is no LIAR due to his on stage and off stage performances. Randi likes to show off his skills foe ALL TO SEE, but when asked about his Challenge Rules he believes he is exempt from answering the questions put forth to him.

So if an old man like Randi can dangle from greats heights to show how great he is, then how about he humble himself and take a LDT that Randi calls WOO and thus debunk the LDT.

Randi has in the past debunked psychics of various skills , so now Randi can get the chance to debunk the Woo LDT in person. Shouldn't be hard for Randi the Amazing Debunker to make mince meat out of a woo machine ? or maybe not ?

Roll up roll up to the greatest show on Earth where a man dares to challenge woo for the umpteenth time because he the Amazing Randi who exposes woo for a passtime has yet not personally debunked the Woo LDT Machine

Hello Brett. The thing about the Lie Detector Test is that Randi can only answer Yes or No... Now what questions would you ask him? or what questions could anyone ask him?
If the LDT is a woo machine then let him take it, with such questions as ''Did you offer to have sex with an underage male''?. Do you believe in the paranormal? Have you seen a Ghost? Have you worked for the Police? Have you refused to test people who you thought might pass the preliminary test?

Do you like Alison Smith? ( I do :D )

whatever - i would ask him pertinent questions appertaining to his challenge and his personal beliefs re the existence of paranormal phenomena - as to his sexual proclivities or otherwise - that is of no interest to me personally
and neither is any involvement with the police or otherwise -( as my interest in him and many others of the "showboat" variety is only passing any way - actually i really don't care to be more honest )

however - stumbling ( inadvertently ) onto the jref forum this morning i find that a LOT of his supporters claim to be "clinically depressed " ( 10 or more pages of this ) - this i found somewhat interesting - and will have to ponder the significance of this :?

and miss smith ?? - sorry not had the acquaintance

Could you send a link to support clinically depressed supporters? Sounds thrilling.
I'm always very skeptical of any situation where someone's notability hinges on their connection to another notable person
