Benneth's $100,000 offer to prove Randi Challenge is legit

Postby Scepcop » 14 Aug 2009, 04:08

What a dramatic flair he has!

what a bitter guy
i couldnt see the whole video
couldnst stand the crazy sounds he uses
For every person who reads this valuable book there are hundreds of naïve souls who would prefer to have their spines tingled by a sensational but worthless potboiler by some hack journalist of the paranormal. For once, ciscop and I agree at something. I also could not watch much of that video due to the choice of sounds.

John Benneth's Rules are as bogus as Randi's..... Oh so that's his point.

There is no actual legal MDC as Randi claims.
Randi was no researcher of the paranormal even though he tried half heartedly.... Shows over.

Hey I recognize that avatar. It's from the end scene of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" when he's pointing to the woman and screeching cause he's become one of them. lol

See how reliable my memory is, contrary to what skeptics say? hehehe

yep.. good call !

you also have to take in mind the times where you are wrong
:D

taking in mind only your hits is not science
putting it together, hits and mistakes
is what makes good science

just try to find an article that says that memory is perfect (not saying you said that)
i dont think you could find something in a journal insisting memory is %100 accurate and totally reliable
its also posible to create false memories :D
and i think thats amazing in itself, way more than some of the paranormal stuff. i just think is amazing the human brain, how imperfect it is and how we fool ourselves all the time.

The Paranormal Challenge's for money aren't clear cut in their rules for fear of being fooled.

The worst nightmare for a Skeptic is being decieved. So that's why the Skeptics find it comforting to point the finger at their ''oposites''. Skeptic say quite openly how Me and others who have experienced the paranormal are decieved.....

Guess what ? I don't believe you Skeptics. :D

Of course I count my misses too. I think it's you guys who are the ones that are only counting the misses and not the hits. You are humans too, not rational, and therefore prone to bias in seeing only what you want to see.

The bottom line is that most of what I remember checks out, hence my hits outnumber my misses. Thus, since the majority of my memory is accurate, then it puts it into the "reliable" category, does it not?

Demanding perfection or 100 percent is not reasonable. NOTHING in the universe is 100 percent.

BTW, if you want to see it, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is on YouTube, the whole film in many parts. I saw it a few months ago.

In fact, here is the end scene where your avatar comes from :)
