MD Panel presents Afterlife evidence to UN Symposium

Postby Scepcop » Sat May 16, 2009 4:49 am

Here is part one of a press conference by Dr. Sam Parnia and other MD's in a UN symposium about their objective research and findings about the Afterlife.

What they've found is that highly structured and coherent NDE's occur even when brain and heart activity have stopped.

But skeptics argue that the problem with that is that it is difficult to pinpoint whether an NDE has occurred before the brain and heart have stopped, during, or after resuscitation. I hope these doctors are able to pinpoint it or find an answer to this.

Here is more on their research from a site that contain links to podcasts of this symposium.

This page has a series of video clips from that UN Symposium

"Watch these videos of the Nour Foundation symposium, "Beyond the Mind-Body Problem: New Paradigms in the Science of Consciousness". Some of the scientists there includes NDE scholars Bruce Greyson, Peter Fenwick, Sam Parnia; non-materialistic neuroscientists Mario Beuaregard and Jeffrey Schwartz; physicist Henry Stapp and other scholars on consciousness and related areas."

we can't know for sure that there really is another world after this one...but what we can do is believe in God in hopes of not losing a presumed afterworld
