Ventriloquism is an Abomination?

Postby Craig Browning » 13 Sep 2011, 01:06

I was doing some research the other day and came across one of the strangest articles I've ever seen; a rabbinical study that suggests that the art of Ventriloquism was damned by God and is in fact, an abomination against god.

See page 1153 -- TORAH
by W. Gunther Plaut & David E. Stein

I can't help but think of all the Jews now bound for hell, because of their days in Vaudeville.

And I heard similar horror stories about damnation and hell concerning the dancers at the Gentleman's Club I used to go to... ;-) It just seems nothing is safe from that firey furnace down below...

I have never seen a good ventriloquism act.. and that includes Jeff Dunham and Terry Fator.. I just not into that thing.

Fact: as a child David Copperfield was a ventriloquist before becoming a magician.

I hear that being skeptical is frowned upon in many religions.

No, you can be skeptical, you just can't question the authorities
