I just got this information in the mail and was asked to pass it to people who might be interested...

They must hear this from a lot of people, so it does not get swept under the rug like a lot of things revolving around all this.

Tell them admitted criminal Jose Alvarez they are about to sentence May 29 conspired with long time partner of about 25 years to found, under that false illegal identity, a closely held Not for Profit tax free corporation The James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) that has taken in, in excess of $20.000.000.00, possibly as much as $100,000,000.00 tax free. This is all public record on the 990 tax forms and the papers founding the company. That illegally formed corporation has paid co-conspirator and life/s partner James Randi, who knew co founder Jose Alvarez was a false identity, a salary of $200,000.00 a year plus huge expenses from tax free donations. Over the years this totals several million dollars plus other benefits. Admitted criminal Jose Alvarez, co founder and long time director profited from the JREF including having an office and gallery on the same grounds, and traveled the world with James Randi probably with expenses paid for by the JREF. The JREF even promotes a $1,000,000.00 phony challenge to help raise contributions which they have no intention of ever paying or for that matter ever accepting any real challenge, which they seem to run from. A possible scam challenge, by a an improperly set up non profit company, put together by James Randi and admitted alien fraud identity criminal Jose Alvarez/Pena.

Read it carefully. There is nothing scandalous in that email which is written provocatively but all it says is that the public records show the JREF has taken in 20,000,000 over the years and pays Randi a salary which is also reported.

It doesn't say Pena was paid $200,000 a year but that Randi is paid that. It says Pena benefited from travelling with Randi. Given that they were would be considered married in a jurisdiction that allowed that I don't know why that's a problem.

What Pena did was wrong - presenting the information in a deliberately obscure manner to make it look like there's something else going on is also wrong.

Remember, Randi donates all of his speaking fees (so he says anyway) back to the JREF. I don't know why the article says 20,000,000 - 100,000,000 = the recorsd are public - I'm sure they could count up each year. Unless they are saying there is unreported donations - which they'd need to show evidence for.

You guys are tying to shoot the messenger in this case. I got the email and because of who it came through I assumed all was kosher and cult-member opinion free as well as free of the typical word spin Randi & Co. do when they get caught out in this sort of thing.

Yes, I know how non-profits work. . . and how they are the safest way to see a profit, ask the owners of the Magic Castle or any number of "non-profits" in which the upper management is constantly pocketing 6 digit incomes. . . I've even inferred that in some of my posts in regards to the ministers within my family. Hell, it's pretty bad when the show business/psychic/fagot of the family has more morals and does more good within the community than the ministers. . .

Randi has set himself up in the exact same way many Televangelist and Cult Leaders tend to do, it's an old psychological ploy in which the group founder/leader/prophet (profit?) shows how they are not "of the world" and so give back or decline a salary living off the fat of the group's "tithes" & dues alongside various streams of revenue such as books, speaking engagements, videos and of course now days we have internet seminars & workshops such folks & their corporations exploit ultimately using the figurehead as a kind of "Brand" identification -- the sheep taking over things, including control of their aging patriarch/matriarch. All of this can be seen through the operations of numerous "dangerous cults" such as Church Universal Triumphant, Scientology and a cornucopia of others as well as so-called "legit" non-profit corporations like maybe certain trade unions and political elements -- Monkey See; Monkey Do. . . as some would say. Fortunately, monkey's tend to have a highly sense of morality and community than their human counter-parts.

People -- well, those that support the great Pubah at least -- get bent out of shape when someone attacks his "Character" and yet, many within this same sect have no hesitation when it comes to attacking the character and credentials of those that would stand against them, let alone twisting truths & facts in ways that give them an apparent upper-hand. Even those not directly aligned with someone as questionable as Randi have a tendency to do such things so as to cause doubt and question in the mind of others. . . it's an old game. Thing is, there has always been certain key triggers around which the genuinely moral and ethical stay to the opposing side simply because they feel dirty supporting something that is not above board and seems a cover of sorts for many of its member who have the same or similar perverse penchants as the founder of said society. In this case, the information I've shared has come from one such person, one that knows at least certain of the "kids" Randi took advantage of or propositioned in the 70's who refuse to go public for whatever reason. . . statistically this does fit when it comes to rape & molestation victim situations but in at least one of those cases money apparently changed hands. In his mind, as well as my own, it's a just enough reason to shine light on every corner of the man's life in the hope that some of his followers as well as authorities, choose to let go of the facade and see the man behind the curtain for what he is.
