At the end of the Scientific Method process, if the data doesn't fit the hypothesis, you are supposed to update the hypothesis to fit the data.
However, pseudoskeptics (the Randi/Shermer/CSICOP crowd) do the exact opposite. They REJECT all data that doesn't fit into the hypothesis they want, which in this case is "all paranormal claims are false" and like a religion to them. Therefore, they do the antithesis of the Scientific Method, which is ironic since they worship science.
