Squirrel removal tips...

I love squirrels for their adorable look. But the havoc they cause is unbearable. Being small in size, they can have easy access to the attic, yard, garden, sheds etc. Generally, these squirrels do not spread any dangerous disease to the humans. But if squirrel feces are not handled well without much hygiene practices then it may lead to salmonella infection.
Salmonella bacteria found in their droppings causes diarrhea, cramps and fever. There are several methods to get rid of these squirrels. I would like to point out some tips here which I came across:
1) The very first thing you can do is setting traps at the entry points, seal the holes, find out the baby nests and remove them.
2) Make sure the trash cans are always closed.
3) Put safflower seeds in the bird feeder.
4) Try using strobe lights and motion activated sprinklers.
5) Make a mixture of chili pepper, vinegar and water in a spray bottle.
6) Ultrasonic sound repellent is also a nice method you can try on the attic.
Also make sure to repair the cracks in the wall, keep the attic clean, close the openings with nets etc. If you have a family of squirrels and you are not able to get rid of them, call out the pest control and . Once I had an issue with the squirrels in the attic and these methods helped me a lot. Hope you would find it useful. Thanks.
