I like Burton's work with Depp so much the only way I can stand to even think about Burton's Apes is to remember it starred Johnny Depp. I know it didn't, but that's the only way I can bear to remember that movie.

(I just read the classic horror movie thread here, so I have high hopes of having just chummed the waters.)

I was a die-hard fan of the original show but obviously Depp ain't the Barnabas of old. I think it's going to fun and I won't be too surprised if a spin-off comes about given how mad-capped Depp seems to be making the old vampire (I just wonder who'll be playing the buffed out Werewolf lad? )

Saw The Avengers this weekend with the kids - loved it! Lots of fun!

Oh, you can stop debating it- it's well worth seeing. It's not lifechanging or anything but just a lot of blockbustery fun with a few good laughs in there to boot.

One example of me not making a good movie decision was waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean, On Stranger Tides to hit PPV. It wasn't around all that long, I delayed and still haven't seen the danged movie.
