My physics teacher asked us to find a solution for this............

When there are twin siblings and one of them is travelling to space. When he returns to the earth the one who travelled to space will be one year younger than the other ............How and why ??????


Somebody explain me the reason..............

Simplified, as one travels anywhere at speeds very close to or at the speed of light, that persons' time slows down while the twin that is not traveling that fast ages at a normal rate (time is normal for him but slowed down for the other traveler). When the traveler returns, he is much younger than his twim. At least that's what Einstein's famous theory states about time/speed/mass.

Maybe I want to talk about this topic.
