Posted: 07 Mar 2010, 23:33Before they tore it down, I had pitched the folks at the Flamingo Hilton in Vegas about doing a Seance in Benie Segal's "Hide Out" -- it was a very interestingly rigged up apartment complete with a quick get-away and other self-preservation elements.
This kind of thing has been done for years... I have collected all sorts of "junk" tied to Chicago's gangland of the 30's & 40's for that very purpose; a brick from the garage where the Valentine's Day Massacre took place (as well as several News Papers with headlines, a Tommy Gun, etc.). The public romanticizes this stuff so when it comes to "show biz" it's quite practical.
