Hey, I already knew that!
I have a better question. Since zombies are already dead, why do they have to eat anything?

Good one.
I enjoyed the article since it pointed out in a humorous way that the term zombie is being twisted into a new meaning by the movie industry. BTW, the British movie mentioned in the article is very funny.

As far as zombie movies go, I can only say that I've seen, "Weekend at Bernie's 2". Those other thriller/flesh eating/scary movies are not something I can watch.

You could try Shawn of the Dead. The 2 stars also did Hot Fuzz.
Shawn of the Dead is really funny. The scene where the guy goes to the local shop to get a soda and manages to walk past a street filled with flesh eating dead without seeing that is what they are doing is incredibly funny. It relies on split second timing to get it to work.
I can't get through the gore movies either.

I have a friend who has also suggested those two movies as real winners. I took her suggestion on 'Hellboy' to find she was right. Now I guess I'll have to look for those two.

I find their humor very funny. Even the end of the movie Shawn of the Dead is funny.
Scepcop might like Hot Fuzz. It's about the evils of the establishment.

To get back on topic a bit.... "Harry and the Hendersons" was a delightful big foot movie. But then again, I am a sucker for any movie with Don Ameche.
