I knew a guy that studied the Kabalah many years ago, that got his numbers by way of meditation; he rarely hit the really big numbers but he always won between a few hundred and several thousand dollars every time he played. But for him it was a very "complicated" routine that involved planetary phases, the time of the year and a ton of other stuff that went with it. Same goes for an Astrologer I once knew; he didn't play himself but would give numbers to his clients to play based on their planets. Like the other, these patrons would hit for smaller amounts but not the big money.
There is a metaphysical logic to this; the idea that the Universe gives us what we "need" rather than what we "want". In the case of these ladies I think there's a bit of Karma that goes into the scenario in that they've done quiet area charity work for years and as the saying goes, what goes around comes around. What's more, they weren't looking for personal gain but rather, a means by which to further their ability to help others. This is a difficult concept for most in our materialistic world view to understand, but when it comes to people that are genuinely focused as humanitarians and spiritual beings, such things are not so uncommon. It will be interesting to see how this win changes them though; such win-falls always change people and rarely for the better.
