What concerns me is the claim of human produced change via CO2. Many charts show that CO2 and temperatures track each other. Other factors show that the increase in CO2 in the atmosphere is due to burning fossil fuels.
The problem is that it is possible that in warming situations CO2 is not removed quickly from the atmosphere. Therefore, the increase in atmospheric CO2 is due to temperature.
The main greenhouse gas in the air is ..... water vapor, not CO2. The climate models use something known as the GCM or global circulation model. These models predict that a small increase in CO2 causes a large increase in H2O. This is what leads to warming. These models are fine tuned by using real data that has been collected.
The question on the emails is which of the 20+ different places doing modeling are we talking about? And is this a matter of fine tuning the models or not?Statistics: Posted by Nostradamus — 23 Nov 2009, 06:22
