kitty jay's grave - Dartmoor

high on the windswept ridges of Dartmoor lies a small roadside grave - inhabited allegedly by the body of kitty jay , an unfortunate serving girl who fell pregnant out of wedlock and committed suicide - her body being buried at midnight in an unmarked grave at a crossroads - as was the custom at the time - for many years - fresh flowers have appeared on the grave - and tourists who pass may stop and wonder as to the occupant of this remote little tomb

my late wife and i + plus a friend - spent an interesting night there some years ago - of the hundred or so photos i took this one seemingly had something anomalous ( and NO that is NOT paintshoped in !! - i don't do fake photos ) - this strange mist effect was not visible to the naked eye when i took the shot - as always make of it what you will - my late wife (seated ) said she felt the presence of the girl ( the wife was psychic ) whilst there .

however my late wife claimed that the story as commonly held is incorrect and it was the son of another farmer who got her pregnant - apparently she was able to contact the spirit of the girl whilst there - and i can vouch for her psychic ability

as always - i present this in good faith as a true account of what transpired .

Not to sound as if I am looking for a way to debunk your mist but.... do you smoke?

I have a great pic very similar to yours, that matches the discription of a few sightings of an aparition, and of course it was considered no good as I smoke and unless you have a controlled situation, that's the first thing they (skeptics) throw at you.

It's as if unless you get a shot of an unexplained 'something' in an absolute sterile environment, no skeptic will even look at it.

Other than the wet blanket mentality of those Pskeptics, very nice shot. Now I'm off to read the story connected with your link.
