I've only known "side courses" and "work shops" when it comes to "higher education"... I'm a simple Midwestern schmuck with a High School Diploma and lot of OJT and, as I've said, related course work. Granted, I am (was, long ago) a certified counselor and I have earned "Honors" type degrees based on life achievement or, as me granny would say,
crack'n the books on my own and study'n... So when it comes to "cheating" I can't see where I'm guilty... quite the contrary in fact; I'm a big ole scardy-cat when it comes to the idea of getting caught doing anything "questionable"
That said, It does get me dander up, knowing just how many folks with "degrees" did cheat in one form or another, frequently via family connections and/or ability to make contributions to such institutions and thus, allow them to graduate unfairly and without EARNED merit. . . talk about your big brother conspiracy theories... unfortunately, big money families really do look out for one another and ANYTHING can be had for a price... well placed bribe... just ask George W. Bush...
