Video: Is this a Time Traveler in 1928?

Check this out. It's pretty bizarre.

Description:

"This short film is about a piece of footage I (George Clarke) found behind the scenes in Charlie Chaplins film 'The Circus'. Attending the premiere at Manns Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA - the scene shows a large woman dressed in black with a hat hiding most of her face, with what can only be described as a mobile phone device - talking as she walks alone.

I have studied this film for over a year now - showing it to over 100 people and at a film festival, yet no-one can give any explanation as to what she is doing.

My only theory - as well as many others - is simple... a time traveler on a mobile phone. See for yourself and feel free to leave a comment on your own explanation or thoughts about it.

The thing is, if he really went into the future, why didn't he record more footage of the cars, houses and streets around? Or bring back a newspaper from the future? That video could be anything and very easy to fake.

The first video is interesting. However, viewers have suggested it being a particular large hearing aid device made in 1924. You can google search it, they mention the name in the comments. However, it doesn't explain why the "lady" was talking to herself the entire time, like someone would on a cell phone, unless she had dementia.

The second video is simply an advertisement commercial, where the initial YouTube uploaders have removed the end part of the video that outed it as an advertisement, to suggest it was something more.

My first impression was that she had a toothache and was holding ice wrapped in black cloth against her jaw while cursing. When he pointed out her surprise, I thought, "Well, naturely, she's just been told they have found a twonky video of her on a cell phone!" As to the homophobia, my final conclusion was it was the Dunwich Horror, and the cell phone had been taken by Dr Who.
Scecop, sometimes I wonder if your posts aren't part of a conspiracy designed to distract two or three key researches and discredit the evidence of whatever. Other times I know I am paranoid and just enjoy them. It might be a hoax. These people had read HG Wells

Maybe she was on a walkie talkie or was a CIA intelligence spy using secret walkie talkie technology far ahead of the time?

I agree that saying that she's a time traveler is a far stretch though. lol

As for the second video, it doesn't make any sense. If it was part of a commercial, then why is the guy himself claiming that it was time travel? Doesn't he know he will destroy his credibility by making up a story like that?

Also, you'd think that if he really did time travel, he would take more video than that. He'd show us what cars and streets were like in the future. And he'd bring back a newspaper too. Not that dumb video that anyone could have made.

But if that footage was part of a commercial, then why did they film it in such low quality with the sun in the background? That's unprofessional and bad quality. It's more like an amateur video from a cell phone.
