Balloon Boy

Postby ProfWag » 17 Oct 2009, 02:54

I have a theory and would like some thought on it (preferrably negative, but if it's supported then hey, it's all good too.) It's about this whole Balloon Boy thing from yesterday. That thing sure looked to me as if it could be sent in the air and at a reasonable distance, have pictures taken of it to look like an "alien" UFO. This guy who designed it also has a you tube video explaning his thoughts that NASA covered up intelligent life on Mars. When I put two and two together, I come up with the idea that this guy built it in hopes that he could convince people in UFOs and, thus, promote his web site and his NASA cover up theory. What do you think?

Considering that I had been told that this family was on the TV show 'Wife Swap', I'd say the entire thing was nothing but a publicity stunt for his own personal gain. And in the immortal words of Forrest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that".

Would you like a piece of chocolate? Momma always said life was like a box of chocolates.

Oh, and one more thing. I'm glad the little boy was safe.

Got any chocolates with those liquor centers?

did they found the little boy?

i was seeing the news on yahoo
and i was thinking.. ¨only in usa¨

until they find out where´s the boy
i will give them the benefit of the doubt
if they find him alive.. then i will totally be behing your theory wag
For every person who reads this valuable book there are hundreds of naïve souls who would prefer to have their spines tingled by a sensational but worthless potboiler by some hack journalist of the paranormal. You who now read these sentences join a small but wiser minority. Martin Gaardner (Psychology of the Psychic)
