Just stating my protocol - GUESSING WORDS WITH A RANDOM CLUE

Postby G. ADAM » 08 Apr 2011, 10:34

We have to get the word channels working SUBJECTIVELY :?
before we can start an objective test. :geek:

SUBJECTIVE DEMO

You think of a common noun.
Tele-ask me the word with MD5, blind
I send a photo of the REMOTE CLUE
You send the word and MD5 text to subjectively check.

THEN

OBJECTIVE TEST

1 You think of a common noun.
2 Tele-ask me the word with MD5, blind
3 I send the REMOTE CLUE

4 repeat 1-3 once per day, 4 days running
5 you post the 4 words shuffled on day 5
6 I guess the 4 days words in order
7 You post the 4 MD5 texts and score.

8 Repeat BATCHES 1-7 until high odds broken or powers not evident

#MD5 the word with a private key appended, e.g MD5(CAT0947464635363674653737373646)

#Tele-ask the word in this format
Word 1 Clue is at Page 123 Line 23
MD5 of Word 1 is as7s6s6as5s7s6s66s5677d56s6s66

#An agreed to witness may be used instead of the MD5 check

Ok, I'll play with you again. But forget the MD5. I suggest we use Ninja again as the control.

Your 'play along' is 'distract the test from ever proceeding'

State all your terms in advance, if we agree then I'll play. If not then no further discussion is warranted.

</blunt>

haha no drama!

OK, so how 'bout this:

SUBJECTIVE DEMO

You think of a common noun.
Tele-ask me the word, while sending the word to Ninja, send you the page and line reference immediately after sending it to Ninja, blind I send a photo of the REMOTE CLUE
You send the word and ask Ninja to confirm

THEN

OBJECTIVE TEST

1 You think of a common noun.
2 Tele-ask me the word, while sending the word to Ninja, blind
3 I send the REMOTE CLUE

4 repeat 1-3 once per day, 4 days running
5 you post the 4 words shuffled on day 5
6 I guess the 4 days words in order
7 You post the 4 words, Ninja confirms

8 Repeat BATCHES 1-7 until high odds broken or powers not evident

Sounds good, what are your criteria for Step 8? Just a fixed number of batches?

Why don't we say 10 to start. If it looks like something potentially interesting is going on, we can nail down a more detailed statistical test, and work out more particularly how to figure out what would be statistically significant odds, and how many trials need to be done to figure that out.

Well I'm game but that would take 7 weeks!

5 days per trial X 10 = 50 days

Anyway let me think it over, this has only been tested with guessing which Question was asked not guessing Words, so I'll do a bit more groundwork for now..
