Hmmm am i missing something? When i watched the first 5 seconds of that video (yes 5 seconds of his nasal voice was all I could take-he sounds more nasal than Nanny Fine from the nanny tv show) he said $1,000 and 1,000 also popped up on the video screen so where does the $100,000 claim come from? I really doubt anyone is gonna try to prove jack shit to him for a measly $1,000. Hell, good luck in even finding someone to watch that full video for $1,000...i know i wouldn't.

Actually I might have an offer for Benneth. Depends if he believes in Santa Claus or not, but somehow I think I already know he does-might be that psychic ability of mine. Benneth if you dont believe in the real Santa who lives at the North Pole and rides a flying sleigh then give me 100% proof he doesn't exist for $1000 bucks. Heck if you do believe in santa the offer stands also for the great pumpkin, easter bunny, leprechauns and smurfs. Please say that at least one of these you don't believe in.

The worst nightmare for a Skeptic is being decieved. So that's why the Skeptics find it comforting to point the finger at their ''oposites''. Skeptic say quite openly how Me and others who have experienced the paranormal are decieved.....

Guess what ? I don't believe you Skeptics. :D

Thanks for that!

Here's the one I love... I have nearly 4 full decades working in magic professionally and I'm not talking birthday party stuff but more akin to the David Copperfield realms. I'm a designer and developer of effects, successor to one of the great legacies of the craft... in short, I know my stuff and yet I have "skeptics" telling me that I was being deceived and I just don't understand what they were doing...

EXSQUEEZME!?!

I'd like to take the challenge, but it doesn't look meant to be real; it's a farce to make fun of the JREF MDC. If I'm wrong, then sign me up!

(I actually took the time to read through it in entirety on Benneth's web site. But it wasn't a do-able challenge --- it seemed to really be a satire based on the MDC.)

Totally disagree: I think the MDC is totally clear and easy. It sounds like a ton of fun, but I just don't think I have any paranormal ability. :-(

I agree with the part about fear of being fooled: there's a time-honored tradition of magicians and other people pulling of hoaxes. I buy into the MDC's logic: if a person really has the skills they say they do, then it should be simple to just show it in action.

well
you see
must people that take the challenge are whackos and nutjobs
not ¨real¨ pro take it

is kind of weird why they dont take it
but you better believe
that believers have all sort of excuses not to take the test
they just dont like somebody to burst their bubble of lunacy

There's no point in taking the test if randi reserves the right to with hold information. Every single thing about it is purposely constructed to operate in favor or randy. I find it funny how the disbelievers honestly think that a guy who has dedicated most of his life to "debunking" would willingly give away not only one million dollars but to also publicly announce " i was wrong the whole time". I wouldn't expect that from anyone.

I have no idea what you're talking about. It looks very honestly constructed.

100% incorrect. The person making the claim constructs the test so how is that in favor of "randy" (sic)?. Whomever is making a paranormal claim states what they can do with the only requirement being that the test has to be fool proof. Both parties involved in the experiment have agreed that the test is fair so it is not in favor of anyone.
