From Dragon*Con 2008 "Skeptics vs. Believers Debate" - James Randi (an audience member for this) challenges Graham Watkins to take the JREF $1 million challenge
Why do people always wimp out when Randi confronts them? Sheesh. There is one person that Randi runs from that I know, and that is John Benneth. Benneth is very melodramatic, outspoken and not afraid of anybody.

Evidence that Randi ran away?
Let me turn this on its head. I think I asked you once before, but anyway. Where is the scientific peer reviewed evidence in a journal you can cite-for Homeopathy.
Do this then we can discuss your silly video.
I'm always very skeptical of any situation where someone's notability hinges on their connection to another notable person
Azrael, scientific peer reviewed evidence for Homeopathy have been posted for many years. John Benneth recently sent some to Michael Shermer. Shermer's response was "it's all bunk". So what's the point? You keep raising the bar. That's irrational.
Some stuff about was already posted in the Homeopathy board on this forum.

Randi lies at least twice on this tape ... he says that the JREF doesn't do the test! .... They just did at TAM.... WOW!!!! That was easy! ( They also did it with a girl who said she could make Jeff Wagg pee his pants at the JREF headquarters)
He also says that he will wave the preliminary test but the JREF email to me ( a current applicant at the time) says the the JREF NEVER does this!

The JREF's Alison Smith and Randi tell different stories .. One is Lying!
Just scratching the surface here
Randi says that no one has passed the preliminary test. Um what about the people who Randi waived the ''preliminary test'' for ?? Randi's Rules state that no one can sit the Real Test unless first passing the preliminary test. And Randi says that unless you ''pass'' the preliminary test, then you are not eligible to sit the Real Test ? Confusing to say the least.
Randi was no researcher of the paranormal even though he tried half heartedly.... Shows over.

Easy: none of the people for whom Randi has offered to waive the prelim have seen fit to even apply for the Challenge.
For every person who reads this valuable book there are hundreds of naïve souls who would prefer to have their spines tingled by a sensational but worthless potboiler by some hack journalist of the paranormal. You who now read these sentences join a small but wiser minority. Martin Gaardner (Psychology of the Psychic)

They never have proven they had the million when he asked and if they did not the challenge they offered was a con.
I would love to see proof that they really had the cash when Slim/Dave asked and consider it very stange they could not provide proof.
You gotta love those who defend the con and are blind in ignorance.
Heck how they rail against me is a great example of how lost these people are. Really verging on mental illness at this point I do think.
But that is just my opinion.

If people railing is a sign of mental illness we've got some prospective patients around here. You know the ones. The nobodies who rave on about successful people like James Randi and Criss Angel who they pitifully tried to attach themselves to but failed. People whose only fame is a handful of people responding to their narcissism and mud slinging on one of the few boards they haven't been thrown off of. People who make unsubstantiated claims and flat out lie because they don't have any real evidence against the targets of their sad little smear campaigns.
I hope you'll play along with a response that is fitting of my expectations, Jim.
