Is Randi really dying? He himself would demand proof!

Postby The Professor » 21 Apr 2010, 10:07

It has been reported by many JREFers that randi is dying, but I don't see the evidence for this at all. He said he was sick and cancelled his appearances yet he made it to ALL of them. For a guy who HOAXED Washington University out of $500,000.00 why are we believing him? He has demanded evidence from everyone all these years yet he himself wants us to take his word. That's just the opposite of what he's been teaching for decades.
Is this some weird set up where he can claim a "CURE" and then just say it was Mother nature? Debunking Miracles LOL
Is it to avoid more camera's and telephone recordings at Dragoncon?
Why did he say he wouldn't be at TAM and then show up fit as a fiddle?

Is this another HOAX?

Another pointless comment from the professor. Why don't you merge all of these comments under a thread called Childish Notions. Maybe the mods could do it for us.

Two words: Pancreatic cancer.

I'm surprised you're not enthralled to see the old man go, and take his big bubble of bad mojo with him.

:P
Hey, you there. Yes, you. Read more journal articles.

If what I say sounds like the teacher from Charlie Brown (Wah wahh woohh wuh waah), then you should try college. It's fun, and only costs you your soul and several tens of thousands of dollars. :)

Let's make directional hypotheses, test them repeatedly, replicate experiments, and publish results! Yay, science!

For every person who reads this valuable book there are hundreds of naïve souls who would prefer to have their spines tingled by a sensational but worthless potboiler by some hack journalist of the paranormal. Im sure he isnt avoiding anything.Didnt you say you were going to go last year and ask embarassing questions? Ah yes:
I think that Jim Callahan and I will be there with those other guys who took the secret video's from last year. Several of our friends have asked to come also
We have a bunch of great questions to ask the JREF ... can't wait

I think someone has a free CD for everyone too!

As per usual you failed to back up your posts. He turned up ,you didnt. When it comes down to it you have no balls!
Also I doubt you have "several friends" :D

It interesting how you "atatck" an 80 year old man, I dont se eyouaattacking Banachek or Criss Angel(another of your favoutite targets). Not becuase they are younger and fitetr than Randi and you,and would liekly bust your ass(to coin a phrase).
Dave Koneig failed magician alcholic and coward. Nice CV you got there.
I'm always very skeptical of any situation where someone's notability hinges on their connection to another notable person
