i am all for alternative energy sources

i dont think there´s such thing as a psychic
if so, i would like to see one
i have been terrible dissapointed so far
i have seen more than 10 so far,
that isnt scientific, just my personal experience

and i dont care about oil companies in particular
i do care about scam artists robbing people, that´s not cool
no matter if you are an oil company, a jew banker or oprah
stealing isnt ok in my book

Let me explain a little of how the real world works. Scientists go where the money is, where the funding is. And who controls the funding? The people who HAVE the money .. mostly business, some government funding. They pay the piper, they pay the tune. They control the research, they control the market. And they control the PR, the advertising, what people think.

And they compete against other technologies, practices and products. Against upstarts and alternatives.

And they play dirty. That's where skeptics come in. Skeptics are the bottom-feeders of competetive big business. Skeptics help to suppress market alternatives.

It wasn't about proving psychic powers, Geller sued Randi & CISCOP for defamation. CISCOP was not responsible and the case was ruled frivolous.

In an earlier case in Japan, stalker Randi slandered Uri. Uri won the case.

James Randi began with the theory that Uri Geller was using altered spoons in his performance. He achieved some validation for his theory on the Carson show. But in 40 years since, Randi has yet to provide evidence that Geller is using altered spoons. Nor has he credibly replicated Geller's feat.

What's the explanation for Randi's inability to follow up with proof? To do real science?
