Imodium AD is actually fairly safe in comparison to other products.
The AD is for atropine, a natural poison, and diphenoxylate, a synthetic narcotic used in the Apollo space program.
The active ingredient in Imodium is loperamide, a synthetic compound derived from other synthetics, originally derived from .. coal tar, just like Mama used to make.
Inactive ingredients:
Carboxymethylcellulose sodium (cellulose used in toothpaste and KY-Jelly)
citric acid (made from sugar and black mold)
D&C yellow #10 (coal tar)
FD&C blue #1 (coal tar)
glycerin (from biodiesel)
flavor (???)
microcrystalline cellulose (DYK - cellulose can be made from recycled paper?)
propylene glycol (made from petroleum, natural gas or coal)
purified water
simethicone emulsion (from silicon, related to brake fluid and Silly Putty)
sodium benzoate (from crude oil, related to paint thinner, also used in fireworks to make them 'whistle')
sucralose (from corn syrup)
titanium dioxide (sunscreen mineral)
xanthan gum (laxative sugar)
Many of these industrial compounds are safely made or processed .. in China.

No answer?
No surprise.
Maybe ciscop is consulting the Oracles of Skepticism to tell him what to think and say.
Or maybe he injested too much rat poison and is in coal tar heaven.
Maybe he can answer this:
Why haven't skeptics been able to "debunk" any aspect of homeopathy?
Skeptics have made claims about homeopathy that are either:
1. False
2. Contestable
3. Highly disutable
4. Wildly unproven
So why don't skeptics use their debunking skills on something more relevant to society and humanity?
So they won't be seen as frauds, con-artists and inept jokes.
As they currently are.

There's no possible win! Do you see that? Not even a draw. Skeptics will resort to mudslinging and false alarm and it will be pointless and dirty. Skeptics will lose.
Hey, suit yourself.
If anything, increasing skeptic criticism and attention to homeopathy will only make it more recognized and researched .. and tried. That certainly has been the effect it's had on me. Now I'm eager to try some homeopathy .... because it's just so darned safe!

Some people just don't get sarcasm .. or need a little help in recognizing it.
I'm here to help
BTW .. blowing smoke up the rectum was an ancient middle-eastern medical practice .. to dispell evil spirits. I'm glad to see skeptics are keeping this alternative medical technique alive.
