Postby Nostradamus » 08 Mar 2010, 11:27

They dubbed it the Windermere Triangle after the three-sided town centre spot which it affected - inspired by the infamous Bermuda Triangle, reputed to have cost the lives of hundreds of sailors and airmen.

Local shopkeepers who frequently tried to help baffled motorists had their own theories - off-licence owner Anthony Dean felt a new set of traffic lights might be responsible, while bakers Phil and Ruth Eastwood blamed their ghost, nicknamed Albert.
Scimitars were not available - beware January 19, 2038 is upon us.
