Muppets Video - "Ghost Hunt"

Postby NinjaPuppy » 17 Feb 2010, 20:03

This is cute but then again those Muppets usually are. I especially like the 'Skeptics' discussing the evidence at the end of the video.

His name is Beaker and the sound he makes here is ME-ME-ME-ME ME-ME ME-ME-ME-ME-ME-ME or MI-MI-MI. It sounds the same with either spelling.

I don't know if it's a newer video. The Muppets are doing a few new television commercials for charity groups etc. lately, so I guess it's possible.

Someone sent me this link this morning so it's new to me. :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

oh yes
is mi mi mi mi mi the sound he makes
poor guy
always scared.. hahahahaa
and they sent him ghosthunting hahaha

you know
i think thats exactly what you need
when you do a ghosthunting show
you need people that believe in ghosts that are easily scared
any sound of the night becomes horrendous and makes for ¨good enought tv¨

That is exactly what most of those shows do now. Especially "Most Haunted". I could never understand how so called "professional ghost hunters" can be so scared at every little knock and bang.

I understand that it is human nature to jump if something startles you but these people scream and RUN! It's a laugh.

NJ that's a wonderful video. It reminds me in college when a friend of mine tried to be like animal. He feels that he never lived up to the wonderful standards set by animal. I think he was underestimating his actions.

The South Park video was also very funny. It spoofs cash hungry ghost fakers quite well.

Thank you. I thought that it was rather on topic, so to speak. It seems that much of the ghost hunting craze is starting to lose it's luster. Even if there are more TV shows than ever jumping on the bandwagon. It's become nothing more than scripted entertainment and a way to make a few fast bucks. I was watching repeats of "Ghost Adventures" and "Ghost Hunters" last week and it occured to me that there have been more than a few 'unexplained' things captured on film but none of it goes beyond those shows. Usually the media eats that sort of thing up and uses it for all it's worth but so far, nada. Why?

Well my only answer is that because it isn't what it is made out to be. Otherwise there would be examination and speculation of the so called 'evidence'. Needless to say, I am disappointed.
