one of the things my late wife i discussed was a bond that whoever went first - should if there is a form of continuance - try their best to let the other know
sadly the wife went first and before we had time to agree on any definite code words to identify any contact from either party - which would be a pretty convincing demonstration if the correct code word was transmitted in any supposed communication - not something easily dismissed as cold reading - in fact not something easily dismissed at all if neither party HAD ever told any one else or written it down !!
now I have HAD i believe communication from her - personal stuff that ONLY she and I knew - stuff you just DON'T SHARE with others and would be impossible to cold read - you may believe that statement as you see fit of course and many will choose to dismiss it
but there have been other cases of agreed "code words " etc - apparently , although of course not all /any ?? of them have come to any thing and SOME may never have been reported if successfully received - a distinct possibility given the incredulity of most people to afterlife continuance
so what do you think ?? - if you lost someone and had arranged a code word or words - and somehow these where transmitted to you correctly by a psychic for instance AND the choice of those words or whatever where such that guesswork /cold reading /fraud could be pretty well completely ruled out
would you be more inclined ( i am not going to say totally convinced here ) to believe that your loved one was somewhere not of the mortal ??
( note to posters ) - this is a somewhat sensitive subject to many people - so keep it civil please !!
LIFE - just filling the bits between birth, death and taxes
Excellent idea with 'code words' and it sure would make me a stronger believer in this area.
I believe that our energy is recycled, so to speak. I don't know about coming back as a flower or a cow but I won't rule that out entirely either. So many possibilities, so little time.....
Code words do not rule out telepathy. Even if the person who dies leaves you an envelope and you do not know the code word in it, it does not rule out clairvoyance. Thus, proof of an afterlife is difficult. Nevertheless, if you had such proof it is probably the simplest answer. However, what such cases would rule out is the idea that psychic ability does not exist.
