Positive Attitude

Postby cubeangel » 02 Aug 2012, 09:44

Why is my having a positive attitude more important than trying to seek truth in America or the part that I live in? I live in Ga of the US and it is almost like people have this extreme positivity that they deny reality. It is so pervasive. It is in our schools and employment as well. In one classroom of one school I saw a poster that had the following quote "Your attitude is more important than the facts." I stood there shell-shocked for what seemed like eternity. By this logic, can I make 2+2=1 in the base 10 number system? Can I walk through a wall? Can I fly like a bird without being in an airplane or a helicopter or any other flying apparatus? Why do they have this belief that seems to defy reality?
