I came across the story of this man yesterday, and a related story of the Buddha boy. They
appear to be legit and verified by scientific experiments, which therefore means breatharianism
is indeed a real phenomenon. It should be surprising though, as it is well known that the sages, risis
of India could live without food and live up to the age of thousands of years, often spending their time
meditating. They derive their nourishment from the pranic energy from the cosmic source, from breathing
air, from the sun and stars, or from plants and trees. Although I would not recommend it to the layperson,
if you practice pranayama regularly you will find yourself that your need for eating and sleeping will diminish,
and your health will actually improve, that it is possible to simply sustain yourself by pranayama and not eat
and drink.
The 65 year old man certainly looks old, but apparently the biological indicators suggest a very healthy man.
His brain is said to be comparable to a 25 year old, his heart rate is comparable to that of a young athlete and
apparently he can walk for miles on end and not get tired. Impressive.

i dont know where you are getting your info
but buddha boy wasnt scientifically tested
and after certain hours, you couldnt see him meditating or anything
so he could have eaten in those hours
this old guy seems to not be wasting any energy
i doubt he could walk on miles without getting tired
i would like to see that

This person has been tested before. He lost weight during his previous fast. He lost less than expected so maybe his body adjusts to the lack of food and water. The results from this test have not been released as far as I know.
Testing of a number of these people in the past has resulted in tests that were of short duration. They also caught a number of the people being caught eating or drinking.
So this person claims he has not eaten or had any water to drink in 65 years. Well that number changes. His age changes. The date he realized he could do this has changed. Lots of things have changed, but his claim. Did you know that the current test was of limited duration to avoid organ failure? Did you know that in one test he actually only had an MRI done, yet it was claimed that he was tested for ability to not eat or drink?
This has hoax written all over it.

the problem with this kind of tests
is that the doctors testing him could get in problem if something bad happens
we are HUMANS our system needs water and food
thats it
yes it is impressive that he choses not to eat
but lets not make it something that is not

Buddha boy was caught eating and drinking behind a screen set up for his privacy. Hoax!
The only 1 claiming the brain of a 25 year old is the person himself. If you have evidence to support this please post it. Otherwise, it's a rubbish claim.
In 2003 he lost a lot of weight. Why would he lose wait? Maybe he wasn't getting the food and water he needed. In fact, the weight loss was only a little less than predicted.
Have the 2010 results been published? If not then how can you claim the same results?
The observations suggest very loudly and clearly that the weight loss was due to the lack of food and water.
HOAX!

I have looked at several different sources and I find no evidence of any hoax here. It seems it is unanimous
that Prahlad Jani has indeed lived without food and water in two controlled scientific experiments for a duration
beyond what is possible for the human body to survive, and has remained in good health.
Those claiming hoax do you actually have evidence to the contrary, or are you just saying it just because you dont
believe this has been done?

oh yeah.. like it couldnt be a trick
