Why are Jews hated so much? What did they do?

I was wondering something. Why do so many countries and people, especially the Slavs, hate the Jews? Did the Jews actually do something to deserve all that, or are they innocent victims of evil like the Jewish controlled US media portray?

Is the hatred against the Jews learned or genetic?

I don't think the "Jews killed Jesus" argument is sufficient to explain all the anti-semitism. I mean, get real. First of all, according to the Biblical Gospel accounts, the Romans actually crucified Jesus, so why isn't there widespread hatred and ethnic cleansing of Italians? Second, the Gospel accounts are not proven historical fact, but merely legend. And third, according to Christian theology, Jesus had to die on the cross in order to become a Savior, and it was all part of God's plan.

So that reason just seems like an excuse. What's the deeper cause?

Did the Jews actually do anything wrong to deserve all that hatred? Do those who hate Jews have a justifiable or logical reason to hate them?

And since the Jews control the US media, why can't they take control of all media in the world and program the world to be pro Jew?

Hating any particular group is not uncommon in human cultures.

At one time Jewish armies were hired as mercenaries. At one point the armies were hired by Mohamed or his enemies. When the Jewish army was captured in battle they were seen to be mercenaries and received the punishment due mercenaries. They were all killed. This event has been used to claim all sorts of hates by overlooking the historical context of the event.

PS The Romans crucified Jesus, who was a member of the Jewish faith.

Here is a puzzle. Name a group of people who share these characteristics
1. They are generally a minority group. Hence a group that can be discriminated against.
2. They are different from everyone else in many ways. Hence a group to be feared.
3. They will do work that others cannot, such as loan money. Profit can be made by killing these people.
4. They exist in many places around the world. They have existed in this way for a long time.


My answer are the Jews. Are there any other such groups?

Other religious groups have their homelands. But until 1948 or so the Jews did not.

what i find interesting
is that even thought jews arent that many in america
they are highly visible in the media
they pretty much run the howard stern show..
i can think of so many jew comedians and artists
like sarah silverman and jerry seinfeld
but i cant think of ONE jew that plays any sport from the top of my head

In the movie "Love and Peace" there is a scene where they are discussing Jews and someone asks which are the Russian Jews and which are the Polish Jews. The answer was that the Russian Jews were the ones with horns and the Polish Jews were the ones with stripes. In the 60s the movies had a favorite line, "The only good Injun is a dead Injun."
