What happened to him? How did he pass away?

An accident. He fell, hit his head and developed some sort of brain bleed. Here's one media story: http://cnmnewsnetwork.com/117094/gary-c ... s-desired/

Here is an article I found about it. Pretty sad. It seems there are suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. How was he so fragile that he went into a coma from a mere fall?

And what happened to the cast of Different Strokes? Why weren't they there with him? Aren't they still his friends?

Cronrad Bain is 87 years old and can't travel easily. Charotte Rae is 84 and also finds it difficult to travel. Todd Bridges and him had a falling out during Todd's Coke and murderer days, and Dana Plato died shortly after her Playboy shoot.
