Are you sure it's the same Chris Carter? That first and last name are common you know. There are probably many with that name.

The Chris Carter who wrote that book does not seem like an entertainer type at all. He looks very reserved, serious and introverted.

I do believe that Winston is right (twice in one day?). I think the guy you're thinking of goes by Christopher Carter.

Quite possible. . . funny that if this is the case, we have at least 3 Chris/Christopher Carters that are all involved with the same kind of stuff but in different ways (the other being Christopher Carter from X-Files).

Kind of makes you rethink Numerology, ya know?

Check out this update I received:

"Hi my friends,

Please, read and share Chris Carter's recent paper refuting Richard Wiseman's lastest debunking attempt of parapsychology and exposing Wiseman's true agenda:

http://www.sheldrake.org/D&C/controvers ... iseman.pdf

It's very important than the "real Wiseman" be widely known among honest scientists who could get fooled by him. People should be get familiar with this paper because Carter explains the statistical methods used by Wiseman to create the illusion that valid positive psi results are scientifically worthless.

Best,
Jime"

That's a relatively old paper, FWIW, and why do you just accept Carter's view?
