The featured documentary is enormously informative. It details how the pharmaceutical industry partnered with the American Medical Association (AMA) in an ingenious plan to overtake the medical system in four swift, easy steps, back in the early 1900s. In a nutshell, it went something like this:
1. International bankers that own the drug and chemical companies gained control over the medical education system over 100 years ago.
2. They gave grants to the AMA and leading medical schools in exchange for seats on their board and the ability to control policy.
3. Finally, they cleverly engineered their control of virtually every federal regulatory agency relating to the practice of medicine.

What? You thought politicians and CEOs were "honest"? . . . Out for the better good of all?
We've yet moved into a Utopian mind-set. . . we're trying hard to get there but we must endure hell before finding heaven.
There is NO Government Agency that is without grift and that can be said for any situation in which more than 3 people are involved; Westernized man is wired toward the idea of possession and conquest i.e. He Who Dies with the Most Toys, Wins! . . . a.k.a. the great delusion.
Thee are hundreds of "3rd world" communities that Europeans invaded, bringing their way of thinking and Christian dogma along with them, robbing the natives of a more open -- share all, sense of community and imposing upon them the idea of possession, property, wealth, et al. It is not a "normal" state in many parts of the globe and you can see how it took hold as the Europeans moved around the globe during the 14th-18th centuries (primarily) and yet, we were still spreading our toxic life style in the mid-20th century . . . it only takes two generations to totally destroy a cultural pattern.
If we were to all learn how to rely less on money, property & social ranking of one another we would see some amazing things happen, especially when it comes to how we treat the afflicted . . . just look at those nations that do have long running reputations for Cancer cures that are illegal in this country. Look at those cures that cost little to nothing just south of our boarders or conversely, in Europe. Even 60 minutes has covered this story and why American's are going to Cuba or Mexico or parts of Asia for medical treatment.
The worse thing to happen to America was the birth of the Industrial Age, it was our first step away from modesty and integrity. A man could no longer be taken at his word and city life became the new standard vs. rural and agricultural living as was known to man for thousands of years.
The Industrial Age gave us an amazing amount of things but its biggest bi-product was greed and the tyranny that comes with it. . . that big hard-on that inspires a nation to screw everyone and everything that gets in its path. Ironically, it would be the Technology Age and its birth that would make those losses pale by comparison. . . blurring the lines in life when it comes to genuine ethics, morality and what the "law" has to say . . . laws written by the wealthy so as to protect the wealthy and little else.
To "Fix" the system means that humanity needs to be brought to its knees and humbled. . . as it stands, we'll do that by our own hand, leaving a devastated planet for our grandchildren. . . again, due to greed and self-will gone rampant. Until we can once again connect with our humanity this form of duplicity will continue and the unfortunate truth is, we all support it in some way and too, we are all guilty of it, at least by degree.
This is why I tell people to write letters to their elected officials, the CEOs of the companies they do buisness with, etc. when it comes to injustices and the need for change. We have a voice and in this country, a right to express ourselves and demand change but until we get off our asses and actually put the effort into making such change happen, "they" will keep doing what they've done for all these years . . . well over a century or two, trust me.
