C'mon Scepcop! You're running out of time to make a prediction!

Here's mine: there is no truth to the alleged mayan prophecy and events that happen in December 2012, even if some are bad, will not be related in any way to that prophecy.

What's your prediction?

Are you asking all of us or just Scepcop? Oh well... that never stops me from putting in my $.02, so here's my predicition-

I predict that there will be some major crashes such as the economy, the internet and main power grids but not necessarily in that order.

Sure!

But do you think that as a result of the prophesy (not counting the fact some elements may be self fulfilling if people think there's going to be a market crash they may act in a way that actually CAUSES that crash. Hopefully the market will be smarter than that though)

I don't ask "why", I just make off the wall predictions. ;)

Then while we're at it I predict that there will be an earthquake, and a hurricane (but not necessarily in that order or in the same place). Also, many people will die on December 21 - some by mysterious causes.

I can tell that you're not from around here... hurricane season ends next week. :) I can finally take my patio furniture out of the garage. Then decorate the house for the winter season.

2013 will be a momentous year. I think we will see and experience those things which have been kept hidden. Mind you, it was never hidden per se. It is only that we have not been paying attention. And, I don't mean the people on this forum.

Yes, some call it the Apocalypse. The Greeks defined the Apocalypse as an "unveiling."

I agree. I think that many people are in for quite a shock. What does make me wonder is how people will react. It should be interesting.

Be specific. What momentous things will occur ?
I predict the coming year will essentially be no different than any previous year.

As Misha said, "things that have been kept hidden". I wonder if the keys to my AMC Hornet will show up???

As a logical person, I don't make random predictions. No one can predict the future anyway. But based on the data, I don't see any reason for an apocalypse, at least not yet.

When I saw that you had bumped this thread i actually had hope for the briefest of moments that you had actually answered my question and declared your prediction about the 21st.
