“Devotion to the truth is the hallmark of morality; there is no greater, nobler, more heroic form of devotion than the act of a man who assumes the responsibility of thinking.” - Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
Re: This video will blow you away, no words can describe it!The video did not blow me away. His statement that students who do not challenge teachers go on to be doctors, lawyers, politicians, etc. has absolutely no validity whatsoever. As a teacher, when one of my students challenges the material or myself, they are praised and information passed on. Sorry, I just have to totally disagree with this assessment.
Re: This video will blow you away, no words can describe it!This is mind blowing BS. Hey, I found a word that describes it.
Re: This video will blow you away, no words can describe it!The number of incorrect statements is so large it is amazing. This must be a comedy skit.

Re: This video will blow you away, no words can describe it!Bleh. It's another What the Bleep thing. When I first saw that, I really bought into it. Now I can see all the holes in the "Thoughts Create Reality" mentality.
The most poignant piece of evidence against this theory is the large number of people who are in the post-WTB stage, view the world as a dream, believe they have full control over it, yet constantly show failings to effect changes in the fabric of reality. For one reason or another, there is definitely a large aspect of objective, solid reality, and the feeling of trying to influence something, only to get a cold, hard reality check is rather painful. I do believe our consciousness and will can influence reality and make certain things happen, but there are limits, there are barriers, and it fails to work a lot of the time. I think a large part of being an occultist and/or psychic is learning to feel out where these invisible walls are, and knowing what you can and cannot push in accordance to your will. Even outside of the Psi paradigm, all of everything is connected in a web, and "you cannot disturb the tiniest petal of a flower without the troubling of a distant star." (- Sir Arthur Eddington) Much of the time I feel stuck, an illusion stuck inside a consciousless meat computer, powerless to have any real effect. But other times, I can almost feel like I'm flowing through everything around me, it's tough to explain...and when I need certain things, stuff just...happens. Hey, you there. Yes, you.
If what I say sounds like the teacher from Charlie Brown (Wah wahh woohh wuh waah), then you should try college. It's fun, and only costs you your soul and several tens of thousands of dollars. “I agree that by the standards of any other area of science that remote viewing is proven“ - Richard Wiseman Let's make directional hypotheses, test them repeatedly, replicate experiments, and publish results! Yay, science!

Re: This video will blow you away, no words can describe it!Okay, Scecop, Really, etc., this one I just watched two minutes of. Pretty pictures. I might watch more for the soothing imagery. This is the informational universe hypothesis in its hard akashic form. I do not see "proof" in my experience that there is any informational system higher than human language or computer programs, but I think there is. Question is, how much?

Even outside of the Psi paradigm, all of everything is connected in a web, and "you cannot disturb the tiniest petal of a flower without the troubling of a distant star." (Yup, that's about how much I think I can influence it. That is more than is dreamed of in scientific philosophy, tho.) Much of the time I feel stuck, an illusion stuck inside a consciousless meat computer, powerless to have any real effect. (Existential nausea. It is a hard yoga, a harder zen. Problem, you stare at the abyss long enough, the abyss stares back.) Whatever it is, its wonderful! ) Peace "What's so Funny about Peace, Love, and Understanding?"
