http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... +made+easyDescription: "War Made Easy" reaches into the Orwellian memory hole to expose a 50-year pattern of government deception and media spin that has dragged the United States into one war after another from Vietnam to Iraq. Narrated by actor and activist Sean Penn, the film exhumes remarkable archival footage of official distortion and exaggeration from LBJ to George W. Bush, revealing in stunning detail how the American news media have uncritically disseminated the pro-war messages of successive presidential administrations.

Interesting...I'm going to be watching it soon. Some of the problems with the media not asking the questions that they should be asking extends to esoteric subjects and skeptics, too. Then again, a certain portion of the problem has to be traced back to the dumb United States public, as well.
No one knows how old the human race is exactly, but we can all agree that we should be old enough to know better.

BTW, I also recommend the phenomenal film by Michael Tsarion "Architects of Control". Here is part one on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7MUGZ6JuRI

Chomsky's movie is pretty good too, although it focuses on the media, not exactly the same topic.

Yes, I'm an Anarchist so it's nice to see pretty much the only well-known Anarchist scholar (there are a few others, of course, but he's the only really well-known one) put out so much political stuff.

I just got finished watching the movie. I agreed with most of the points made in the movie. There were some points that I thought could have been better supported with evidence, but other parts I thought were sufficiently supported - particularly the parts that were about the media organizations getting things wrong and then not changing.
