From the sounds of it though, it would seem my confusion is warranted and actually expected given that no two people seem to tell the same tale.

So, I've also gotten mixed vibes from you. Do you like/respect Ghost Hunters (the TV show)? I hesitate to share my feelings on them as I don't want to be off-putting, but I'm curious to know if they are well-thought of in paranormalist circles.

Actually, I still enjoy the different paranormal shows currently on TV. I do watch "Ghost Hunters" regularly and will watch the occassional episode of "Ghost Adventures" with Zac and the boyz if it's airing at a convenient time. I've seen a few episode of "Paranormal Cops" and I used to enjoy LMAO at "Most Haunted". As for my opinion of these shows... they started off good and then went more to an entertainment (catch the ratings or push some hotel/motel that is about to go out of business) mode that has changed the whole feel of the original concept.

I'm sorry. We cannot be friends anymore... JK of course.

Here's the link to the episode if you're curious.

Edit:
It would help to include the actual link...

Yeah, I think they did a good job of parodying the entertainment focus of the show and the fact that they never friggin find anything. Favorite moment: the spirit goo. I lolled, quite hardily
