Another "Irreducible Mind"

Postby HurricaneHeidi » 23 Aug 2009, 03:35

Hello everyone,

I'm so happy to have found this enclave of open-minded, secular thinkers.

I have graduated from fundamentalist Christianity through atheism to an informed, rational embrace of psi.
This is primarily due to my own personal psi experiences, which I believe are validated by everything postulated by Rupert Sheldrake and his theory of "Morphic Resonance"... as well as everything suggested by the research compiled and correlated by Drs E.F and E.W. Kelly.

Here I am reading aloud from "Irreducible Mind" by Edward F. Kelly and Emily Williams Kelly (an 800 page volume packed with research and footnotes):

First, a reading from their introductory chapter, setting forth their belief and purpose:

From Ch One, Part 1 of 2

and from Ch One, Part 2 of 2

.................

Then from Ch Nine (summary of research and conclusions), re: Alfred North Whitehead and F.W. Myers - Pt 1 of 2:

and from Ch Nine, Pt 2 of 2:

.................

And now an excellent excerpt from a Rupert Sheldrake lecture, in which he exposes James Randi (from personal experience) as an unscientific phony and a "conjurer" :

Welcome Heidi.

It looks like you've been through a similar path as me.

I'm glad you have the courage to show your face in your videos though, most people online don't. They are too concerned about remaining anonymous.

So what kind of psi experiences have you had?

Kudos on accomplishing this. I, too, was once a die-hard atheist (I'm now simply agnostic), and I certainly would never have even entertained any possibility of paranormal claims being grounded in reality. It took lots of reading and logical deduction--although mostly inductive, as is typically required--for me to finally come around. I could no longer ignore the data and its implications. I had to change my worldview according to the facts, not by preconceptions, convictions, and worldview.

"Irreducible Mind" is a fascinating read. I own it as well. It's second on my list of the best psi-research related books, only 2nd to "Entangled Minds."

I believe "Irreducible Mind" is expensive because it is actually two huge books in one. The main volume is 800 pages of comprehensive research and analysis by husband and wife Ph.Ds Edward F. Kelly and Emily Williams Kelly, which covers just about every credible aspect of psi ever researched - literally. And it also includes a CD of F.W. Myers complete research volume on Human Personality.

Mostly the receiving information from beyond my 5 senses kind of psi - "knowing" and being "guided". I've posted a couple of them on here:
