Welcome John.

Can you post some links to your sites, and explain what they are about?

Another cat photo Eteponge? Let me take a wild guess - you like cats right? And you probably have one too? Does it try to walk on your keyboard when you type? lol

Yes, I have an obsession with cats. No, I don't own one, but my dog thinks he's a cat, and use a litter box.

Wasnt sure if posting direct links was within this forums etiquette.

Here are my sites
http://badpsychics.co.uk/thefraudfiles/
http://www.badghosts.co.uk
http://www.badreligion.co.uk
http://www.badhomeopathy.co.uk

Forum
http://moh2005.proboards78.com

Please keep in mind I am not here to start to debate the content on my sites, if you wish to do so please go to my forum, or leave comments on my sites.
I wish to debate with people on here within this forums topics etc, I am not interested in a slanging match with people who dislike my site.

By the way you are all welcome on my forum, which can boast a nice mix of believers and skeptics.

Welcome Jon! I really look forward to your insights. I will definitely check out your sites as well, but so far, I'm really enjoying this one and they keep a lot of my free time occupied. There are some insightful people who have helped me see what being a skeptic is about and have presented some challenging arguments.

Hi JonDonnis,

That's an interesting series of sites there. I hadn't heard of them until now.

How did you find out about this site? It's relatively new still.

Your forum looks very active. It looks like it's been around for a while.

I also notice that your Adsense Ads are displaying ads from psychics. Psychic ads on an anti-psychic site! What an irony :)

Anyway, this forum is not strict. Links are ok here as long as they are within reason and relevant to the topic. Remember we are open minded here, not dogmatists :)

To be fair though, would you mind posting the link to this site in your forums too, as a sort of exchange? That way, your readers can consider our arguments and side of the story as well :).

Thanks,
Vinstonas

Yes, your sites are interesting.

I already noticed that you have a few of my favorite spoofs/frauds already listed on the first one. IMO, no list is valid without the "SNL-Ghost Adventures" 'fart' spoof. Aside from being highly entertaining and funny as all heck, it does add a certain amount of truth to how some groups consider the significance of their so called findings. I look forward to doing some surfing amid your content.

Well i am glad you can now peruse them.
BadPsychics is the UK's largest skeptical site on psychics, and the network as a whole is easily the biggest non-profit skeptical group in the UK.

How did you find out about this site? It's relatively new still.

Someone emailed me and said i needed to see this site, a few of the posters here are a bit OTT if you know what i mean.

Your forum looks very active. It looks like it's been around for a while.

Yeah its the second version, been around about 5 years now, maybe more.

I also notice that your Adsense Ads are displaying ads from psychics. Psychic ads on an anti-psychic site! What an irony :)

Yes the irony is not lost on me.
Unfortunately the people who host the forum force the ads on there, and although we can pay to have them removed, we dont make any money on the forum, and i already pay out a fortune hosting all my sites with little to n return fiscally.
For the record those ads are NOT mine, and i make no money from them.

Anyway, this forum is not strict. Links are ok here as long as they are within reason and relevant to the topic. Remember we are open minded here, not dogmatists :)

That is nice to hear, with the exception of a few of your members, i am pleasantly surprised.
When i first landed on your front page i thought this site was just another outlet for Victor Zammitt, and i was expecting lots of woo types talking about floating spirit trumpets, and Louis Armstrong singing from beyond the grave, nice to see i was wrong.

To be fair though, would you mind posting the link to this site in your forums too, as a sort of exchange? That way, your readers can consider our arguments and side of the story as well :).

Already done that, and i can already see a few of my members finding there way here. Although also seen a couple of yours come my way, and of course would be the ones that are OTT

That video with Hugh Laurie is on the site somewhere i am sure, as well as the original Most Farted spoof, and the very real moment when Ciaran O'Keeffe measured Derek Acorahs fart with a £20,000 infra red camera, which they thought was not being filmed!!

Very cool sites Jon.

I shall read through all of them in detail.

Kudos to you and your team for the thoroughness of your research and for actually investigating claims and testing evidence.
