Are there paid shills and debunkers on the internet?

Discuss Conspiracies and Cover Ups - e.g. 9/11 Truth, JFK Assassination, New World Order, Roswell, Moon Hoax, Secret Societies, etc. whatever conspiracy floats your boat.

So when I say its possible there are government shills I am detracting from the main issue?

There are all kinds of shills on the internet with all kinds of agendas. But the issue at hand is: Are there government shills who try to shell out disinfo regarding conspiracies, government lies, in order to discredit dissidence? That's the question. What do you think? If you don't think that the government or COINTELPRO program doesn't try to attack freethought and dissident views regarding conspiracies and government lies, then please explain why. Provide valid logical reasons.

I said its possible they do. You quoted me saying it. I have no knowledge either way. I think it would be a waste of money since there are no end of people stating the same things on their own but it certainly is a possibility.

I believe Winston thinks you are one of the paid shills.

Yes, he is. He has the cubicle next to mine. Here's a pic. He's the second one from the right.

I could tell you which one he really is, but then I'd have to kill you. ;)

Yes, arouet, really? and I are all getting paid to use common sense. I believe it was Louis Armstrong who sang "What a Wonderful World." Hell yes, I would LOVE to be paid by the FBI to come on a website that gets all of 2 dozen views a day to post retractions to Richard Gage and David Icke. Sign me up!

Arouet is NOT a paid shill. He's from some other country that doesn't get mixed up in this sort of thing. I'm still on the fence as to Really?'s status but come on now ProfWag.... we all know that you don't work for the FBI. You are paid by one of those classified US gubbermint groups who prefer to remain nameless.

And who is Stephen Barrett? I Googled and found someone by this name mentioned on something called quack watch. Is this the person?

I'd like to be sure before adding him to "The List". Thank you. 8-)

I wonder if Mr. Alex would be the same Alex whose last name is Jones. Alex Jones a radio talk show host is a purveyor of all sorts of extreme ideas none of which I am aware of turn out to be true. If so, he would certainly describe Mr. Barret as a shill, a person known to have a more sensible perspective.
