September Clues... Take 2

ProfWag, What would you accept as evidence of video tampering. Basically, what would we expect to see in the footage if it was actually tampered with? What would you look for?

What am I? Chopped liver?

Which video footage? The live video (with various seconds of delay) or the fully edited versions shown later that day on the news reports? Or.... the video footage presented in "September Clues"?

I watched it "live" on FOX. The second plane was clear as day in the live video feed of what I saw on TV. There would not have been ample time to put a fake plane into all of the various views that were shown shortly after the second "explosion". CNN was late to the party with their coverage (fact) as (I am making an assumption here) they were getting their feed from a secondary source. I was able to post on an internet forum exactly what I was seeing on the TV, way before CNN did. I was also on IM with someone who was a few blocks away from the WTC at the time. She was in her apartment scared to death and had NO clue what was happening. The power went out when the first plane hit. She was working off of a laptop with battery.

I too remember seeing the second plane live on tv. I had actually just come into the room and thought initially it was some movie or tv show they were watching. But it was real.

As Ninja and Arouet ponted out, I too remember seeing it live. Fox and Friends was on it literally seconds after the first plane hit.
To answer your question though, unfortunately I'm not a video expert and I'm quite ceretain that with enough time and equipment, all video can be professionally done to make it look like an original so I don't believe that unless it was a sloppy job, we could tell if it was faked or not. And if it was a sloppy job, would the conspirators have allowed that footage on TV knowing their shoddy video presentation would be identified as an obvious fake? My thoughts say no. Also, the CNN reporter would have had to have been in on the conspiracy. Right? And if so, then how many news reporters do you think would be willing to cover up anything for the U.S. Government? Not many I wouldn't think.

Not quite. I have been away, but have recently connected with a friend who is a media specialist. He gave me some questions to ask Simon. I think that I will email him. Questions like whether the "glass man" could be a video artifact due to compression, Or why Simonshack thought the different building were from a common template called "the matrix." He also thought that the comparison of the al quieda shot to the helecopter "ball" shot was apples to oranges because of the very different camera angles. My friend said that if we could figure the hight of the helicopter in relation to the towers (perhaps by comparing objects in the backgrounds to the towers) then we might determine where the plane was in the shot and compare it to the al-quieda shot. Anyway thats where I am.

I am just sorry about getting six pages in and still not past the first two claims. I need to go through the archived footage again.
