Mind/maths duality, interpretations of quantum physics

Postby spoirier » 28 Jul 2015, 17:38

After my introduction to quantum physics I last mentioned, a few months ago I wrote a detailed analysis of the interpretations of quantum physics: what are the incoherences in the materialistic interpretations (in particular Bohmian mechanics), and how I think should best be described the mind makes collapse interpretation (I think the lack of such a coherent description is part of the explanation why such an interpretation was not taken so seriously by physicists until now).
I then wrote a short overview of this and other aspects of my view of metaphysics in an essay at fqxi, which unfortunately was not seriously considered because this contest was dominated by materialist cranks.
