The New Bigfoot Video

Okay, I just don't get it. There are wars all over the world, we have potential radiation in Japan, we had Castro announcing he stepped down from power 5 years ago, Liz Taylor passing, and Butler still in the NCAA Tournament, yet the number 1 searched item on yahoo all day has been the Bigfoot video. So, I'm curious, has anyone seen it who truly believes that video is legitimate? If you haven't seen it, but would like to, go to yahoo.com and search "bigfoot video" and add to their count.

Well, if this is the video you're talking about, then it's pretty darned pathetic. First, isn't Bigfoot supposed to be pretty tall? Second, did he salute the camera or was that just me? Third, what's up with the blurred picture? Do they really expect people to believe that it was just an unfortunate circumstance that led to being unable to clearly see what they were taping?

All-in-all, even if I thought Bigfoot was real, I would say this vid was a hoax.

On the subject of Bigfoots, or is it Bigfeet? I happened to catch an episode of "Fact or Faked" the other night and it seems they have a perfectly rational explanation for at least one Bigfoot sighting and possibly most Bigfoot sightings. Their conclusion was.... (drumroll please) a "hunter" in a ghillie suit. Well, obviously not a "hunter" because they carry something to "hunt" with, like a gun and this thing (in the film footage being examined on the TV show) wasn't toting anything.

I can finally understand how a perfectly rational person could think that they saw some weird creature roaming around in the woods. Especially if said ghillie suit person was a poacher who was hell bent on not being seen or caught. As far as accounts of the smell that usually accompanies the sightings, that pretty much goes with the territory too. There's all sorts of horrid concoctions that can be purchased to mask the natural 'human smell' to fool the prey.

I'm going to buy me a ghillie suit for Halloween and lay out on my front lawn and scare the crap out of the little trick or treaters this year.

I must say, I enjoyed the trailer for Suckerpunch they were showing on the page. I expect it to be a mess- but looks like a quite enjoyable mess! I think I'm going to have to see that one!
